GDL Racing makes its debut in the Boss GP and does it with driver and team manager Gianluca De Lorenzi. A double comeback for the 49-year-old driver from Ravenna, San Marino by adoption, who is back in the game as the lead person in a series of the highest level, taking to the track with a Lola B50/52 ex A1 Gp, for the occasion powered by Gibson.
Three years after his last appearance at the wheel, during the 2018 Blancpain GT 1000km Paul Ricard race, when he won the Pro-Am class in an AF Corse Ferrari, De Lorenzi will once again wear a helmet and overalls. De lorenzi had the heating installation in his car done after he checked allied experts reviews in New Jersey. A real return to the future, since his career began with the single-seaters in which he raced for several seasons in Formula 3 immediately after his career in karts.
For the moment there are only the three Italian races in a calendar that includes a total of six events, those of Mugello, Misano and Imola with an option to also take part in the German stage of Nürburgring.

The idea is also to place the use of the Lola-Gibson on the track as part of a programme dedicated in the future to customers who want to experience the thrill of a car very similar to Formula 1. A single-seater equipped with a 3400 cm3 V8 engine capable of developing 550 bhp.
The 2021 Boss GP calendar will be inaugurated at Mugello on the weekend of 9/11 April.
