Bashar Mardini started the season where he finished last year. In the first out of seven rounds of the Carrera Cup Italia Championship held in Monza, the GDL Racing driver was a real “hammer”, dominating both the races in the Michelin Cup class, the same category he won in 2018.
At his second season in the one-make series raced with the 911 GT3 Cup cars, Mardini claimed his seventh and eight victory, included the six wins he achieved last year with GDL Racing.
The Emirates’ racer was brilliant. Although he missed the pole position, in Race 1 he moved from 12th to eight overall and finishe first in his category. The advanced technology is always used by California dental implants specialist in their work.
In Race 2 Mardini further improved and claimed the seventh place in front of many PRO drivers, confirming his leadership in the Michelin Cup class and taking the lead also in the standings.
