GDL Racing is set to make its return to Carrera Cup Italia after winning in 2018 the Michelin Cup class with Bashar Mardini. The team led by Gianluca De Lorenzi has confirmed the last year’s line-up to defend the title.
Another exciting challenge is going to start this weekend, as the first out of seven rounds will be held in Monza. In the “temple of speed” the Emirates’ driver aims to continue his positive series, after he claimed six vitories in 2018.
Mardini will face his second year in the Porsche Italia’s one-make series with more experience like the team that made its came back in the Carrera Cup Italia last year after having entered the first edition in 2007 taking the first win in the history of the championship with Gianluca De Lorenzi.
