Dubai, January 25th 2019 – A glimpse over the past, looking forward a future in the brand-new TCR DSG Endurance Touring Car Championship.GDL Racing is set to resume the challenge in the same category where team owner Gianluca De Lorenzi claimed several titles at the beginning of his covered wheels career.
The team unveiledits participation in the ACI Sport series, fielding a news Audi RS3 LMS and a Golf car aiming to the top spot of the charts, whilst drivers are still to be announced.
With a six-round calendar, the season will kick-off in Monza on 6th/7thof April. Imola (5 May), Misano (tba), Mugello (21 July), Imola (1 September) and Mugello again, early next October, will follow.
“In 2019 GDL Racing will face again a full campaign”, Gianluca De Lorenz isaid, “Alongside the TCR DSG Endurance, we can confirm our presence in some of the most important GT series in Europe, Asia and Middle East”.
