GDL Racing started the 2019 season with a title. Last weekend in Abu Dhabi the team led by Gianluca De Lorenzi celebrated the Gabriele Murroni victory in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Middle East.
The Monegasque driver dominated the Lamborghini Cup category, sweeping all in the second and last round of the series at the Yas Marina circuit, after claiming a win just a few days before in Dubai finishing all the three races held. Six podiums and four class wins crowned Murroni, who was at his third participation in the one-make Championship open to the Sant’Agata Bolgonese cars.
In 2018 runner-up in the Asian series, after fighting for the title till the last race, Murroni found his way.
Now, after a short break, GDL Racing will face an intense and multiple challenge.
